Stalkers and how to deal with them

Caution Ladies ! Stalkers are usually psychotic maniacs suffering from obsessive or possessive disorder syndromes. They however believe that they are diehard persuasive lovers and as such so taken by others too . If stalking is not checked earlier and risks stemming from it are not preempted, it can turn out to be very dangerous. In Pakistan alone , each year there are over 1000 cases of victimization of women by their stalkers as a punishment of victims' alleged dumping of the perpetrators or mere refusal to show reciprocal interest . In most such cases the faces of victims are disfigured / defaced/ mutilated by means of acid attacks or use of sharp objects. Dealing with stalkers is an important subject of our Self Defence classes which includes both the strategies to avoid such dangers in the first place as well as saving oneself from their effects , if faced with them .
